ASDA has increased its support for British lamb, following talks with the NFU.
The supermarket chain has said all Asda lamb chops will be British from September to December and from August the eight to 10 chop pack will be British.
It will promote British stuffed shoulder and half shoulder line until September, and its leg promotion line is being partly converted. This comes after Tesco was challenged for promoting New Zealand lamb.
