EFFICIENCY and profitability of producing highquality beef and lamb for domestic and export markets will come under the spotlight at Eblex’s annual conference at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, on November 4.
Duncan Sinclair, agriculture manager for Waitrose, will give the retailers’ perspective on current market conditions.
Other topics will include the impact of China, banking and financing in the livestock sector, and creating change through improved relationships in farming.
Nick Allen, Eblex sector director, will give an overview of the outlook for beef and lamb, while Shropshire farmer and Eblex board member James Evans will highlight the challenges facing beef production.
