BARNARD CASTLE. – This week's meeting was our Christmas meal at Smallways, and a great night was had by all. Next week's meeting is carol singing around our usual route, so could members meet at Barnard Castle Post Office at 6.30pm and wear something festive!

BUTSFIELD. – This week, the club visited members past and present on its carol singing trip. Well done to all the members who joined in with the singing. Butsfield Young Farmers would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

CATTERICK. – Last week's meeting was a delicious Christmas meal at the Beeswing. Next week's meeting is carol singing. Meet at Hackforth Village Hall at 7.15pm, and wear warm clothes and take a torch. ELWICK. – This week’s meeting was Christmas crafts where members made marzipan and icing fruits, members enjoyed making. Next week’s meeting is carol singing. Meet outside the WI hall, Elwick, for 6:15pm so that we can get around all the intended farms. Festive accessories would be great to wear. GREAT SMEATON. – This week's meeting is ice skating at York Designer Outlet, leaving at 7pm from the green to start at 8.15pm. The cost is £9.95 per adult and £8.95 per child. If you are unable to attend, could you send your apologies.

NORTHALLERTON. – Next week's meeting is carol singing, meeting at Applegarth car park in cars at 6.30pm with warm clothes, torches and your fine voices. Contact James or Emma if you would like us to come and sing at your house before the night. The next meeting in the new year is the York pantomime. For those attending, meet at the Buck Inn bus stop at 6pm. The club wishes everybody a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

STOCKTON. – This week, we went carol singing. We had a fantastic turnout of members plus the Cash for Kids mascot, Courage the Cat! We travelled around our area singing for past members, friends and family. The night raised a fantastic £150 for Cash for Kids, which is a great start to our year of fundraising for them. Thank you to all who came along, donated and assisted with transport. The presentation meal is on Friday, January 2, at 7pm at The Ship, Redmarshall, TS21 1EP. Caroline has the menu, so if you would like to come along, call her on 07533783814 by Tuesday at the latest. We will be holding a raffle, so if you are able to take a prize that would be most appreciated.

WENSLEYDALE. – Our meeting this week was a Christmas craft evening, when we all made a Christmas card. Thank you to Mrs Spensley for doing this with us. We are holding our presentation night on January 10 at Carperby Village Hall at 7pm and will include a bring-and-share supper. Could all members attend, and we will follow the presentation with a quiz and bingo. The annual domino drive will be on January 16 at Carperby Village Hall at 7.30pm. Members need to take a raffle prize.
