East Lancashire is home to a few notable figures and famous faces- but have you ever wondered what has happened to them since they left our screens?

Here are five famous figures from East Lancashire and some details about what they have been up to off-screen and behind the scenes.

Grace Davies

Grace Davies grew up in Ribble Valley and she is a singer-songwriter.

She brought the X-Factor judges to tears in 2017 after singing her original song ‘Don’t Go’.

Grace was the runner up of the series but slipped out of the limelight after the show ended.

However, Grace recently released a new EP called ‘Friends with the Tragic’.

Kieran Lee

This Burnley-born reality TV star first burst onto our screens on series four of Ex on the Beach.

However, his stint on reality television didn’t end there as he went on to feature on Big Brother UK season 18- but was evicted on the penultimate night.

As well as promoting products on Instagram, Kieran has stayed close to his roots by working in the family business, RGL Security.
 

Hollie Steel

Hollie wowed the Britain’s Got Talent judges in 2009 when she was just 10 years old. On the show, she notable sang a cover of ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’ and is remembered for bursting into tears during the live show.

However, Burnley-born Hollie is now all grown up and still making music.

She also has a YouTube channel where she posts covers and original music.
 

Diana Vickers

Diana Vickers made it to the semi-final on the x-factor 2008.

The Blackburn singer and songwriter was well-known for her unique vocals.

Since then, Diana has released several albums, including ‘Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree’ and ‘Music to make the Boys Cry’.

She has also had some theatre roles in ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ and ‘The Entertainer’

Carl Fogarty

This sporting legend was born in Blackburn and is regarded as one of the best world superbike racers.

The seven-time world champion announced his retirement in 2000, after he damaged his arm in an accident.

Since then, Fogarty went on to win reality TV show, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2014.
