The white van seen acting suspiciously in Northallerton was carrying an NHS logo
POLICE in Northallerton say anyone who sees a suspicious white van displaying an NHS logo should contact them immediately.
Officers in the town say a white van displaying an NHS logo with a male driver dressed in a suit "has been seen on various streets in Northallerton acting suspiciously".
A statement on the Northallerton Police Facebook page continued: "Please be vigilant of this vehicle. If anyone has any information regarding a vehicle of this description acting suspiciously, please report to the police immediately on 101 quoting incident number 12200228198."
It is understood that in one incident reported to police, a man knocked on a door in Romanby and offered a home Covid test to the occupant, who refused.
