1. The Bank Wine Bar and Bistro, High Street
Ranked as the number one restaurant in Wrexham by TripAdvisor themselves, The Bank Wine Bar and Bistro is equally as loved by reviewers.
The restaurant has a five-star rating after 278 reviews, with 231 people rating it excellent.
One reviewer said: “We had a brilliant evening! We had upstairs dining area to ourselves, which was perfect. Delicious tapas dishes and considering the number of dishes ordered we all got our food together. Great food, great service.”
2. The Hideout Bistro and Bar, Chester Road
The Hideout takes the number two spot on the TripAdvisor list, and is equally as loved by customers, with a five-star rating.
Of the 197 reviews, 168 rated The Hideout as excellent.
One reviewer said: “Wow amazing food! Great service great portion size and very tasty Will be visiting again Highly recommend Best Sunday dinner I’ve had yet.”
3. Caffe De Galles, Church Street
Caffe De Galles has a five-star rating from TripAdvisor reviewers.
Of the 96 reviews, 83 people rated the restaurant as excellent.
One said: “This quaint cafe is situated right next to St Giles church. It’s lovely old fashioned bay windows look out onto the old, cobbled street. Although small in size it has a bustling atmosphere.”
4. Lisbon Tapas Bar, Church Street
TripAdvisor rates Lisbon Tapas Bar at number 20 in their list of Wrexham restaurants, but reviewers have given it a five-star rating.
Almost 90 per cent of diners rated it as excellent.
One said: “Had a great evening here. Would definitely come again, the food was fantastic - fresh and delicious!”
5. Caffi Cwtch, Chester Road
Of the 49 TripAdvisor reviews left for Caffi Cwtch, 44 rated it as excellent.
TripAdvisor’s number 21 ranked restaurant in Wrexham is clearly a popular spot with diners.
One said: “First time at Caffi Cwtch, it definitely won’t be the last. Spotlessly clean, very bright and airy cafe. My husband and I had the full Welsh breakfast, the quality of food was excellent and a generous portion.”
