The Long Arms has made the top 50 list once again, shooting up from number 40 in 2020 to 24th place this year.

It's not surprising since the gastropub continues to grow from strength to strength including being recognised as the Best Chef and Best Food Pub finalist in Thetford Reader Awards 2016, receiving a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017; and winning the Gastropub award in the Bath Life Awards 2016 too.

The Castle Inn

Joining The Long Arms in the top 50 list is The Castle Inn which has come in at 37th place in this year's ranking.

The gastropub made its debut in Estrella Damm's rankings last year and it's back again for 2022. 

Castle Combe is a traditional Cotswold valley village and The Castle Inn is located in a quaint 12th-century building that has been restored with "significant love and attention", according to Estrella Damm.
