A jubilee display in Carperby
FOR the first time since 1992, the funds from the open gardens event in Carperby on Sunday, July 3 will go to St Andrew’s Church at Aysgarth.
Usually the funds have been given to Carperby Village Hall but one of the founder members in 1992, the late Eleanor Dinsdale, did say it would be good to also support their parish church. Her garden will be one of at least ten open this year.
The gardens will be open from 1pm to 5pm, admission £5, and refreshments will be available in the village hall.
