A dry stone walling competition in Cumbria gave young farmers from the county the chance to prove that the skill is in safe hands.
The event took place at Holmescales Farm in Old Hutton on Sunday and was organised by the Southern District of Cumbria Young Farmers Clubs.
A Cumbria YFC spokeman said: "Judges Mr Bob Bond and Mr Irving Western were impressed with the level of skill and expertise shown by the young farmers.

"It was good to see that traditional farming skills, such as walling, are being carried forward for future generations by today's young farmers."
Walling involves competitors rebuilding a section of dry stone wall, being measured on categories including the quality of foundations and straightness of the construct.
Grayrigg was well represented, with three winners coming from the village, whilst Will Black from Crook triumphed in the Inter Division.
